Newcomers and Neighbors of Greater Houston is now affiliated with Open Door. Open Door is a network of International Women's Clubs, which "open their doors to each other." NNGH members can have an introduction to the International Coordinator of the Club in the city in which they are visiting and/or moving to. Any NNGH member may be able to attend a Monthly Meeting as an Open Door Guest. NNGH members must be able to produce her current membership badge or have a letter of introduction.

Newcomers and Neighbors of Greater Houston is also one of the many clubs listed on the The Newcomers Club Worldwide Directory. This directory was created as an avenue for people who are new to an area to help locate clubs and organizations that give an opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others who live in the same area.
